THE MAN WHO LOVED HAUGESUND / MANNEN SOM ELSKET HAUGESUND
This film tells the extraordinary story of Moritz Rabinowitz, a controversial man in a little Norwegian fishing town in the 1930s. Rabinowitz, a charming and successful entrepreneur with a strange accent, was a man who had the courage to fight those who disliked him – and they were many at the time.
Through a journey of search and revelation the filmmaker uncovers the life story of a contradictory man who became an innovative entrepreneur, anti-fascist fighter and, by his death, tragic hero.
The film is available on DVD with English subtitles from our webshop.
